Wednesday, December 2, 2015: Militants have warned the internally displaced person [IDPs] of North Waziristan Agency to stop from returning to their aboriginal areas in North Waziristan, here on Wednesday, FRC learnt.
In an electronic message to FRC Mufti Sadiq Noor an important and senior commander Hafiz Gulbadar Group of North Waziristan said that IDPs should not come to North Waziristan unless peace is restored in the agency.
“IDPs should not come to the Agency as fierce fightings are going on between the army and the Taliban fighters in different areas of North Waziristan”, said Mufti Sadiq Noor.
“They [IDPs] may be harmed physically and financially and they will be themselves responsible for their loss”, added Mufti Sadiq Noor.
In the electronic message Mufti Sadiq Noor blamed the Pakistan government authorities’ adamant approach for the deteriorating state of security and resultant destruction in the agency.
“We [North Waziristan Taliban Shura] did our best to ensure peace in the area and save the area from destruction but all our efforts proved to be in vain because the government does not seems to be interested in peace and have not given a positive reply to our peace offer”, said Mufti Sadiq Noor.
He also denied the tall claims of government authorities regarding the restoration of peace and stability in the North Waziristan Agency by dismantling militant network in the agency.
“The government claims [about restoring peace in the area] are futile and are far from reality as our valiant mujahids [fighters] are still fighting with full fervor and the area is still a battle ground”, said Mufti Sadiq Noor.
Pakistani security forces since June 2014 are conducting military operation Zarb-e-Azb against both local and foreign militants in the North Waziristan Agency of tribal areas of Pakistan. According to military sources security forces have almost cleared more than 90 % of the area from militants.
