Bannu, Feb 17, 2015: In charge of the Bakha-Khel, FR-Bannu, temporarily dislocated persons camp, Brigadier Mohammad Mokhtiar, has said here on Monday that the process of repatriation of North Waziristan Agency displaced persons would start at the end of the month of March, FRC has learnt.
This was said by Brig Mohammad Mokhtiar during a special meeting with the people living in the camp where a large number of media outlet representatives were also present.
The in-charge appealed to the DPs’ to inform the administration of the camp about their problems well on time so as to take appropriate steps for its timely remedies.
“This is your duty to let us know about your problems at the camp as until and unless we knew about your confronted difficulties we wouldn’t be able to resolve them”, said the In-charge of the camp.
Mr. Mokhtiar said the people living in the camp must share their grievances with the nominated tribal elders in the camp other than camp management if they feel imperative and comfortable.
“Look if you can’t inform the camp administration, owing to few reasons, about your complications you can contact tribal elders who are amongst you who have been nominated for the said purpose”, revealed the Brig Mokhtiar.
He further added that the repatriation of internally displaced persons of NWA would get start at the end of month of March but conditioned to the prior announcement of the federal government.
“We are very hopeful that the government would be able to announce the repatriation of NWA displaced people at the end of the next month”, and “The Army in-charge of the camp has started taking all necessary preparations that would be required in such conditions”.
