KHAR, Sep 29, 2015: The elders of Salarzai tribe during a jarga held at Charga area of Salarzai tehsil, Bajaur Agency, vowed to take strict action against the all non-state actors involved in criminal activities in the area, here on Tuesday, FRC learnt.
Addressing the Jarga, elders and member of peace committees said that serious and tangible efforts against criminal elements, responsible for different anti social activities in the respective areas is pre-requisite for ensuring sustainable and lasting peace in the area.
Malak Mohammad Younas Khan, Malk Abdul Nasar Khan, Malk Arzaman Khan, Malk Mohammad Abbas Khan, Malk Khan Badsha and Large number of elders and members of village defense committees of different areas of Salarzai tehsil were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the participants of the jarga expressed serious concern over the killing of four persons and vowed to expedite their efforts to trace the elements accused in the sad incident.
They also announced to launch a massive drive in various areas of the agency to search the criminals involved in different criminal activities in the region.
“No one in Salarzai tehsil will give shelters to the any person involved in criminal or terrorist activities in the area” said a Salazai Malak.
The participants of the jarga also decide to make a joint effort to resolve long standing rivalries among the local inhabitants of salarzai tehsil.
“Resolutions of inter-tribal and personal disputes are highly significant in promoting the cause of peace and security in the area” said a member of Peace Committee.
It was decided in the Jarga to set up distinct Peace Committees to resolve the community disputed in the region existing for the past several years.
