KHAR, 24 June 2016: The Pakistani security forces repulsed an attack by absconding Pakistani Taliban terrorists on multiple security checkpoints located on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Nawagai tehsil of the Bajaur Agency. According to security forces, the Taliban fired rockets and mortar shells on several check-posts without causing any casualty. In retaliation, security forces injured two attackers who were trying to escape after the attack. The Taliban terrorists are based in Kunar province of Afghanistan which abuts the Bajaur Agency.
