Logar: At least 23 insurgents were killed during a 20 day operation in central Logar province. The operation was launched in Mohammad Agha, Barak-e-Barak and Charkh districts of the province. Militants Involved in Major Target Killings Arrested by Afghan Forces
Two militants involved in major target killings have been arrested by the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) personnel. According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI) the two individuals were involved in the killing of three Special Forces of the Afghan National Police (ANP) forces. They were involved in at least twenty terrorist attacks in southeastern Paktika province of Afghanistan. 27 ISIS Militants Killed in Afghan Commandos Operations and Airstrikes
Nangarhar: At least twenty seven militants affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group were killed during the operations of the Afghan Special Forces (Commandos) and airstrikes in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. Over 70 Rockets Fired on Kunar from Pakistan in past 24 Hours
The restive eastern Kunar province of Afghanistan once again witnessed artillery shelling from the other side of the Durand Line as dozens of shells landed in its two districts in the past twenty four hours. Taliban Militants Suffer Heavy Casualties in US airstrike in East of Afghanistan
Nangarhar: The Taliban insurgents suffered heavy casualties in an airstrike conducted by the US forces in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. According to the provincial police commandment the US forces targeted the Taliban insurgents in Khogyani district. Herat: At least seven Taliban militants have been killed and ten others wounded during a clash with Afghan forces in the Shindand district of western Herat province.
