Fata Students to Stage Sit-in against Delay in Fata Reforms on June 19
The Fata Students Organization (FSO) announced a sit-in against delay in Fata reforms implementation process in front of governor house on June 19. FSO president Shoukat Aziz asked the federal government to implement Fata reforms. He demanded that Fata should be given representation in the provincial assembly in 2018 elections, women representation in KP assembly from tribal areas, and five percent share for Fata in NFC Award, besides due shares in developmental schemes under CPEC for the tribal areas. FATA MNAs Devise Strategy to Launch Campaign for Merger with KP
The members of National Assembly from FATA who are supporting merger of the tribal areas with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have devised a strategy for protest movement for the merger. FATA MNAs Al-Haaj Shah Jee Gul Afridi, Shahabuddin Khan and Sajid Hussain Turi have devised a plan to ensure merger of FATA with KP. Imran Accuses PML-N of Maligning Judiciary
Pakistan Tehrek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief, Imran Khan, filed a petition in the Supreme Court requesting actions against the premier and other senior members of the ruling PML-N for running a smear campaign against judges of the Supreme Court and members of the JIT. Top Court Warns against Hindering JIT Inquiry
The Supreme Court has warned that any impediments to the working of the JIT probing the money laundering allegations against the Sharif family would be taken as subversion of its April 20 judgment in the panama gate case. PHC Orders Inclusion of 13 Disputed Villages of Mohmand Agency in NA-36
The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has ordered inclusion of 13 disputed villages of Mohmand Agency into National Assembly constituency NA-36. The FATA Political Alliance leader Nisar Mohmand had filed a petition in the PHC in which he stated that under the Constitution of Pakistan these 13 villages were part of Mohmand Agency. The Decision of the PHC will bring about 100,000 populations of these 13 villages back to Mohmand Agency. Radio TNN

Australia Announces $ 18 Million to Support Polio Eradication
Australian government has announced new grants to support polio eradication efforts of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI). Julie Bishop, Minister for Foreign Affairs, said that we would provide a further $18 million over two years (2019-2020) to contribute to ending polio transmission in Pakistan. She said that Australian funding to GPEI will purchase and distribute polio vaccines; support polio surveillance and monitoring; fund immunization campaigns and strengthen routine immunization systems.
