BAJAUR AGENCY, September 24: A girl from Bajaur Agency has clinched the top position in the annual Malakand University examination for Bachelor of Arts by securing 443 out of 550 marks. Marina Sultana, a student of the Government Girls Degree College, Khar, told reporters on Monday that she is very happy on this achievement.
“This was a great honor for me for achieved this significant position in the current BA exam and I hoped it would help to promote girls education in the agency where girls facing a lot of problems in getting of education,” and she also said that she would like to join the civil service to use her abilities for the betterment of tribal women.
She said that promotion of girl’s education in the tribal areas was her dream and she would work for the improving of female education in the area.
She criticized the political administration and the local education department for not encouraging the girl’s students in the agency.
